- " Hey mom! Glad to hear you got your package and that you like it. I just paddled 65 miles in the last three days through some of the prettiest coastline I've ever seen. Untouched and pristine. No tourists but lots of fishermen. I'm in Java now and I successfully paddled across the Straight of Bali in perfect weather. The picture with the big mountain in the background is what i saw as I approached the island of Java. The whole peninsula on the southeast corner of Java is incredible. I paddled in to a bay and saw monkeys playing on the beach. It was totally deserted except for a pearl farm with a few guys working there. They fed me and I spent the night there. The next couple days were full of beautiful coastline and nice fishermen who gave me info on where the good beaches are. Now I am in a nice spot called Grajagan Bay. One of the best waves in the world is here and I'm the only one surfing- everyone else is fishing. Anyway enjoy these pictures. I ask the fishermen to take photos of me and they do a pretty good job. Love Bobby "
